Porcelain Lace Draping Doll

Lace draping dolls are created by soaking cotton lace into liquid porcelain slip. then attaching them to the body of a porcelain doll as a dress, then fired.
Lace draping dolls were born in the 17th century along with European porcelain.
As it spread to America, various designs of lace were used to make even more beautiful porcelain dolls.
With the use of high quality porcelain and beautifully designed laces, lace draping dolls are so delicate and elegant that they are the princess of ceramics.
Using the porcelain lace draping technique, I am creating porcelain lace fine arts as a new expression.
